With a primary focus on Kithul, spices, and a range of other agricultural products, The Global South works closely with local producers to ensure authenticity, quality, and ethical sourcing. Alongside exports, the company is also actively engaged in serving the local market, promoting value-added agricultural products that reflect Sri Lanka's rich natural heritage.
Eranda is a Consultant Economist attached to a leading financial institution in Sri Lanka, with extensive experience working with international development organizations including USAID, ILO, WFP, and OXFAM. He possesses a strong academic background in economics and is currently a PhD researcher. As an accomplished researcher, Eranda has presented research papers at both local and international conferences, contributing to evidence-based policymaking and development discourse.
He is a dedicated Medical Officer with extensive experience in public health and clinical practice. An MBBS graduate of the University of Colombo, he is committed to advancing community well-being through compassionate care and innovative health solutions. His professional work reflects a strong passion for medical excellence, ethical practice, and meaningful service to society, with leadership experience, multidisciplinary collaboration skills, and a patient-centered approach.
